Children will be completing this assessment during their asynchronous time on Wednesday, 5/12. An informational video on how to get your child logged in and ready to go for Wednesday, 5/12 is below.
Important points to note:
- This is a test to help meet your child’s individual needs.
- There will be questions they know and some that they don’t know.
- The results of this test will not affect your child’s grades.
- The test is not meant to frustrate your child, if they don’t know an answer, simply encourage them to guess and go on.
- Please don’t help the kids with the test questions.
We are continuing Unit 8: Two-Digit Addition
The final artist that we will be studying this year in Art Literacy is Claude Monet. There is great information about this artist and an optional art activity. Simply go to my “Homeroom” course card in Canvas and press the button called “Art Lit”. Enjoy making some beautiful creations!!
Specials is P.E. (May 17-May 31)
Be sure to check the course card in Canvas for the week’s assignment.
There will be no further lessons assigned through Canvas from me. All assignments will now be assigned through Seesaw. Your child can simply tap the SeeSaw app to access assignments.
Water Bottles and Masks
Water bottles with straws are allowed for in person learning. Also, please make sure that the mask your child wears to school fits well and stays in place. The kids did great this week! Thank you!
Lessons will be around trying hard and things we are good at doing.
Our new genre focus is narrative writing. They will be writing a narrative based on their experience of raising butterflies.
